This project involved a typical double-story house equipped with Tiandy’s 2-megapixel cameras. The system supports Video Content Analysis (VCA), providing advanced features for enhanced security. We enabled the cross-line detection feature, which triggers an alarm when an object crosses a virtual boundary. The system then sends an alert to the client’s mobile app, offering two options: reviewing the alarm footage or switching to the live view.
Additionally, due to the narrow side yard of the property, the camera’s field of view included a portion of the neighbor’s yard. To ensure privacy, we enabled the privacy masking feature, which blocks out areas of the video feed that capture the neighbor’s property, thus protecting their privacy while maintaining effective surveillance.
